The decisive advantage of eneloop compared to conventional Ni-MH batteries is the extremely low self-discharge. After charging, eneloop retains its performance even if it is stored for up to 36 months. This is the revolutionary advantage of NiMH batteries. You no longer have to worry about the battery level. Just charge them up and connect them. Even after months or even years of charging, your battery is still almost full.
